About this Role:
This position will be instrumental in enhancing the performance of both newly hired and underperforming tenured sales representatives across assigned markets. The role demands a proactive and results-oriented professional who is willing to travel up to 50% of the time to directly engage with sales teams, providing the training, mentorship, and support necessary to achieve and exceed sales targets.
What You’ll Do:
- Performance Improvement:Diagnose performance challenges and design targeted coaching plans to address the needs of new hires and underperforming tenured reps, ensuring consistent achievement of sales goals.
- Field Coaching:Spend significant time in the field (50% travel required) with sales representatives, delivering one-on-one coaching sessions, and leading by example through direct sales activities.
- Training & Development:Facilitate engaging and informative training sessions that cater to the varying needs of sales reps at different stages of their career. Update and adapt training materials based on evolving sales strategies and market trends.
- Sales Strategy Implementation:Work closely with the sales leadership to align coaching efforts with overall sales strategies. Provide feedback from the field to refine and enhance sales approaches.
- Performance Monitoring:Regularly track and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, celebrate successes, and address areas of concern promptly.
- Collaboration & Feedback:Foster a culture of continuous improvement and open feedback. Encourage knowledge sharing among sales reps and act as a conduit for communication between the field and corporate leadership.
- Market Analysis:Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities in assigned regions, leveraging insights to adjust sales techniques and strategies.
- Mentorship: Serve as ongoing sales mentor post training & development stage of rep life cycle
Do You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- 3+ years of experience in a sales coaching, training, or mentoring role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance data.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to assigned markets.
- High level of motivation, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products

The starting compensation range for this position is $76,100 to $99,900.
